Jackie Murphy from Springtimes Dartmoors made the long trip down from Liverpool to collect Covdale Carrera and fell in love with Prettyoak Sorshas 2006 colt Covdale Aspen as well, so Aspen jumped onto the lorry too!

OK not a Dartmoor! but Covdale would like to introduce Braemar Bertie Buckle - 'Bertie' is our new Connemara colt foal. He is by Churchway Daybreak out of Sydserff Sparkle. We are very pleased with him and he has been a little angel since he has been here, I think he was a bit overwhelmed with the journey and his new 'friends' but has settled well and at the moment is being a 'butter wouldn't melt' pony, I just hope it continues as I would like to leave him entire for now.

Covdale Aspen and Covdale Spellbound are 'growing up', I have added a couple of updated pictures to our '2006 Foals' page.

Covdale Contradiction has been backed and ridden out on the lead rein. He is so easy to do and takes everything in his stride as if he's been doing it all of his life. He is available for loan to a showing home as he's far too good to stay out in the field doing nothing. Please see our 'Ponies for Sale/Loan page' for more details.

Holyrood Sensation & Covdale Jazz have gone to Norfolk! Both are on 2 year loan to Sarah Noakes of Betsenji Dartmoors. We would like to wish Sarah & family the best of luck with both ponies.

Covdale Serenity has gone to her new home today in Newhaven, East Sussex and will hopefully be shown this year. We would like to wish Mrs B & MIss C Joyce the best of luck with her.

Beaconsfield Morning Glory was 6th in the Dartmoor Pony Society Mare of the Year Competition!

Beaconsfield Foxtail was 2nd in the Glyn Greenwood, 3rd in the Keston finals and 2nd in the Lincs & East Midlands Performance Awards for 2005 too.

Beaconsfield Foxtail, B. Morning Glory, and B. Aurora have all been placed in the first 3 at Star shows in 2005.

Beaconsfield Prince Valiant has qualified for all 4 PUK Winter Championships in hand finals at his first affiliated show and only his 3rd ever show!

Also BIG Congratulations to Gill, Mike and Jess of the Briars Dartmoor Stud on all their foals this year. I hope to get some photos of the ones they have had by Holyrood Sensation, they sound as though they have fulfilled you're expectations Gill.

Hisley Portreeve has gone to participate in the 'Newtake Scheme' on Dartmoor. He is out with his first mares on around 100 acres and I hope he produces some nice stock for everyone concerned. Unfortunately this does mean he is no longer available at stud here in Hampshire but we still have 'Holyrood Sensation' standing for anyone who may wish to use him.

Thornbrook Wilbye produced a lovely colt, by Hisley Portreeve at 11:40 this morning, bay with small star, big strong lad.
